Comfort Inn Hyannis - Cape Cod, Hyannis

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and had a nice smell, but the mattress pads could be better. The breakfast was good, and the service was very accommodating and kind. The location was central to my purpose of visiting, and the proximity to the waterfront was a plus. The dining experience was a bit disappointing, as the breakfast was not appetizing.

The hotel's rooms were not as depicted in the pictures, with dated decor and small balconies. Despite being quiet, there were remnants from previous guests left behind. The service was mixed, with some staff being friendly and helpful while others made unfulfilled promises. The location was convenient for exploring Hyannis but needed some improvements. The dining options were limited, though some items like FRESH waffles were highlighted.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants, offering a great location. The rooms, although not perfectly cleaned, were decent, but the layout with connected rooms may not suit everyone.

The hotel had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the rooms, despite being a bit tired, were clean overall. The staff went the extra mile to assist us, even bringing us coffee and juice. However, the room had a lingering smell of mildew and smoke, and some staff members seemed inexperienced, causing some mishaps. The location was a big plus, close to various attractions and dining options.

When I arrived at the hotel, the room had a bad odor of musk and dampness, and it definitely smelled of cigarettes, leaving me with an awful smell to contend with until 5 pm when the room would be ready. The service was a bit lacking as well, with cleaning happening only 2 hours before check-out and the staff not being proactive when I needed assistance. On the bright side, the location was perfect for exploring the Cape by car and felt safe and friendly, close to the train station and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
